Your blood´s track in the snow

I am developing my thesis with Johana Rodríguez. Our thesis is a screenplay and a production inspired by Gabriel García Márquez´s story called: Your blood´s track in the snow.
In other words, we are doing a script which will tell the story of Nena Daconte and Billy Sánchez, newlyweds who go from Colombia to Paris for the honeymoon and when they arrive Nena starts bleeding from a finger until she gets hospitalized and dies. Billy is left alone in Paris with no money and nothing to do about it because he doesn´t speak french.
Firstly, we will have to write the script, in this sense, we have to develop the characters and take
the actions that actually happens in the book. By doing a diagram we can start to write our script with coherence and to follow the actions that take place in the book.
Secondly, we can do the production part. At this stage, the script has to be ready in order to help us know what we need to do for the production such as casting, budget and locations.
Finally, I can conclude that our thesis is a contribution to the University because this story has never been adapted for a screenplay.
